I Love Giraffes

A child’s favorite animal makes for a great birthday theme. We took this particular little girl’s love of giraffe’s created a fun party that was enjoyed by all who attended. Good food, sweet treats, and activities are a recipe for a great kids party because what child does not love getting wild. Giraffe print in colors of tan and cream highlighted against the other party colors of pink and blue clearing showing I love giraffes.

The main table draped with pink and blue tablecloths. A tan runner down the middle topped with grasses and pink giraffe’s hinted of the plains of the savanna in Africa where the giraffe’s live. The centerpiece of the table was a wood giraffe with the birthday girls name on it painted in the colors of the party by Glitter Girlz Events and Designs. Lollipics with the birthday girl’s picture on them were placed on the giraffe print plates for the kids to enjoy at the party or take home as a favor.

The birthday girl wore a crown created by Shawna Brockmeier Styled Events it incorporated all the birthday colors and patterns, and had a cute little stuffed giraffe in the middle. She could not of been a more perfect model.

The dessert table was dressed in a pink and blue tulle skirt by A Special Touch Events Planning and was topped with a variety of sweet treats to choose from. The show stopper on the dessert table was definitely the two-tiered animal print cake by the birthday girls mom. Other delicious treats to choose from included chocolate covered Oreo’s topped with cute giraffe faces and pink bows by Kima’s Konfections, giraffe face cookies with the sweetest little expressions by Sweet Factory, cupcakes topped with cute fondant giraffe faces by Kima’s Konfections, and almost too cute to eat giraffe head cake pops by Sparkling Sweets Boutique. A make your own smores bar was available as well which was a big hit with all the party animals.

After filling up with lunch and sweet desserts the activities began. Giraffe ears and tails were provided for the kids to get silly with. Stations to get your face painted and nails wrapped in Jamberry giraffe print were set up for the kids to enjoy. The girls loved the nail station but the boys passed on that one and just got their faces painted which was just fine by them.

Favor boxes with tags to match the party invitation and theme created by Swishprintables were filled with candy, cookies, and Lollipics. After the boxes were filled with the sweet treats they were tied with giraffe print ribbon. Thanks for getting wild with me.
