Dallas Cowboys vs Chicago Bears Football
What do you do when your turning two have a family of Cowboys Fans and Chicago Bears Fans, and you’re the only boy well you throw yourself a Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears Football Party. Little Leo is the sweetest little boy, and his parents are such special friends that I was honored to give Leo a party that would be fun and so memorable for all. Leo is the youngest of five with four older sisters, and everyone adores him.
From the football ticket invitation done by the fabulous Twinkle Twinkle Little Party to our table setting made to look like a Cowboys-Bears field using the décor of both teams, I incorporated the love of football this family has especially Leo. The centerpiece a wooden sign bearing the Birthday boy’s name, created by Zuzu Names, perfected my vision for what I wanted for Leo it represented both teams and it was darling. A very special birthday hat for Leo – we did manage to get him to wear it so we could get some pictures, as many parents know, that is not easy to do with any two-year- old. Shawna Brockmeier Styled Events took my theme and ran with it this hat was amazing and loved by everyone including Leo.
The children enjoyed all the sweet from chocolate covered oreo’s, cake pops by Brenda’s Pop Shop. And no party would be complete without some of Haleybelles Cupcakes including super cute team cupcake toppers from Fancy and Fold. The Birthday cakes were delicious one represented his love of the cowboys and the other his home team the bears it did not take him long to blow out his candles. While the kids enjoyed their sweets, the adults were able to enjoy some tailgate foods such as chili, mini hot dogs, and taco salad.
The Bachman dining room became a mini football field with a backdrop that we made using streamers of both teams colors and was the perfect setting for mini photo shoots that the kids and parents could enjoy. The football props made by our fantastic designer over at Fancy and Fold
were adorable; the kids totally took advantage of using them creating fun with each other and their parents.
Leo could not wait to get outside even though it was a cold crisp day he had to get his hands on his Bears Pinata he hammered it like a real linebacker having fun doing so. All the kids took turns and of course the candy was the big attraction I mean who doesn’t want to see who can get the most in their bags. I had just as much fun watching the kids as they did bashing the piñata until it broke.
The party was such a fun day Leo enjoyed every bit of his party he thanked his friends for coming and gave them favors of Princess Mirrors in their favorite team colors for all the little team cheerleaders and cool team necklaces from the Bottlecap BOWtique for our little football players. They also each received an adorable lollipop with Leo’s picture on it from Lollipics so they could all share some happy.
